Magic Hour Wedding Photography

I bang on and on about Magic Hour and it’s for a very good reason. Light is best about 45 minutes prior to and 15 minutes after sunset. The light is far more flattering and there aren’t as heavy shadows cast. People and nature looks better in magic hour! If you’re planning your wedding timetable, consider allowing enough time for this golden light.

Let your reception know you’ll be back shortly after that so they can perfectly time the service of your entrees. Some receptions may try and angle for an earlier start, but if you’re wanting soft, colourful and buttery wedding images then request they hold off a little for you.

I’m sure they’ll understand 🙂
