2016 Queensland Professional Photography Awards

I’m very happy to be able to write this blog today. I just won three Silvers at the 2016 Queensland Professional Photography Awards. I would like to thank the AIPP and the judges for recognising my wedding photography. I can’t explain the feeling I get when my peers react positively to what I’ve created for my clients. Perhaps the best way is to tell you that I felt like dancing when I found out!

At the end of the day all I’ve ever wanted is to positively affect others and to feel like I’m doing my piece to contribute. Awards like this help me feel like I’m moving in the right direction toward that goal.

I’d like to also thank my clients. There are so many photographers out there I know, but the fact that you’ve chosen me is an honour I will always be grateful for. Thank you for trusting my vision and for remaining in the moment with each other. It was a true privilege to be a part of your beautiful weddings and I’m so glad we were able to win these awards together!

I’ve reserved the most important thank you for my wife, Sarah. You are a legend! Your patience and understanding is what makes all of this possible. I work ridiculously long hours and so much of my time is spent at the computer and not beside you on the couch, but you never complain. All you’ve ever done is support me, and I love you so much for that (as well as for a billion other reasons). Thank you for being such a good woman to me and loving me like no one else ever has! I love you!
