An Amazing Day at the 2014 International Loupe Photography Awards – 13 Awards
Today I found out that I was awarded a bronze title 13 times in the International Loupe Awards for 2014.
It’s the best news I’ve had in ages and I’ve been floating around all day!
Firstly I must thank my wife Sarah! You are my greatest supporter! I work terribly long hours and sometimes this job is not easy, but you’re always there to offer your support and love. I have come to rely on your objective advise – even when you tell me things I don’t want to hear. It’s your honesty that has made me push harder, and without that I would never have gotten to where I am today. I love you and THANK YOU!
I must also thank my wonderful family. They’ve always supported me and bathed me in love, and we artists love the love. I love you all!
I want to also thank all the judges from all of the countries who participated in these awards. None of my images were judge by Australian judges so the fact that my work has been recognised by photographers from all over the world is a massive compliment and my gratitude is unfathomable! Thank you!
I would also like to thank my clients for choosing me to photograph them. There are so many photographers out there and the fact that you chose me is an absolute honour! Thank you!
Finally I would like to thank my supporters! There are so many of you and it’s so heartwarming to know you’re all there. Most of you have never been photographed by me or even met me for that matter, but week in week out you like my work, comment on my blogs and posts, share my images, and just make me feel like a million bucks. I used to scoff when I’d see celebrities telling their fans that they love them, but I completely get it now. I love that you’re all there for me! I love that you support me on the great days and pick me up on the days I don’t feel so great. You all continually teaching me what loyalty is all about. I love you and I thank you so much!
So the awards. I took out:
9 bronze awards in the Wedding category
2 bronze awards in the Portraiture category
2 bronze awards in the Landscape category
I can’t help shaking my head as I write that!
Here are the images that were recognised. Thanks again to everyone involved!
