Engaged in the Moment
I go on and on quite a bit with people about owning their own space and being together in the present moment. After all, that’s where the magic happens! I’m not sure some people completely understand me though because they’re not engaged in the moment while I’m explaining it, lol 🙂
Tony and Lacey quickly found their moments in the present! They were right there with each other and it was such a buzz to photograph. Creatively speaking, I got inspired, big time! They had travelled from Brisbane to the Gold Coast so Lacey could get her makeup done. Then they drove all the way up to Bribie to hang out on the beach and capture some images! When they got out of their car they were still bubbly and excited. Straight away I liked them! It was clear that they really cared about what we were there to do.
Then within a few minutes (after I’d made it clear I was there for them and not the other way around), they were owning every second! They got completely lost in each other’s company and forgot about me for long enough that I could capture their natural and real interactions. I was in my element because of how they were with each other. I want for ALL of my clients to feel this comfortable that quickly! That way every time they look at their images they’ll see the real connection they shared in front of the camera and forever treasure those moments.
