Last month I photographed an incredible wedding in Melbourne as I’ve blogged about before. It was a great experience for me and it has resulted in a lot of beautiful images that I will no doubt share more of in the future. Something I wasn’t aware of while I was shooting the wedding was that the dress was designed by Steven Khalil. Nor was I aware of the attention this one image would gain as a result of it.
I posted this image on Facebook a couple of days ago and it wound up being reposted by Steven himself. As a result my stats have jumped even higher since posting the image of Ken and Amanda’s wedding cake toppling photo.
It’s very rewarding to discover that the famous and very talented designer has liked the way I’ve showcased his design enough to draw some more attention to it. So I would like to thank Steven Khalil for sharing my photography with his fans. His work is incredible and I am so honoured that he likes this image. It’s so funny how life works. You just never know what’s around the corner!
I would like to once again thank Latoya and Nat for trusting their magical wedding day to me. It was THE biggest event I’ve ever photographed and I’m so proud of the results – and the fact that so many people are responding so well to them.
If you’d like to see some more of Steven Khalil’s work you can find him here:
