You Can’t Hide Kindness

Something I’ve learnt over the years is that people can’t hide kindness, and I saw it over and over again at Lisa and Hieu’s beautiful Maleny wedding! I had the best time photographing their very special day. I’ve also loved processing these images and reliving their wedding over and over again! I’ve smiled a lot while working on these pictures.

The best thing about my job is meeting people like Lisa and Hieu. I’ll never forget how much I enjoyed spending the day with them. They’re both amazing people and have the best personalities, which always makes what I do so much more enjoyable. Sure, Lisa’s gorgeous, and Hieu’s the ambassador of “cool”, but what inspired me the most is just how wonderful they both are to each other, and to everyone else! They both have the best hearts – hearts of gold.

Eric Hoffer once said, “Kindness can become its own motive. We are made kind by being kind” and I thoroughly agree. Lisa and Hieu’s have made kindness a self fulfilling prophecy – a positive feedback loop that generates more kindness. I watched time and time again their joy sweeping others up and leaving them better for the experience.

The love they have for each other is undeniable and it was a real pleasure to photograph! Their infatuation for each other is truly special. Love like theirs is what inspires me!

It was a wonderful day celebrated by wonderful people. I’m so grateful I got to be part of their super-special and awesome Maleny wedding day! I absolutely loved photographing them both.

I’d also like to say a massive thanks to Lisa and Hieu for the beautiful personalised gift they gave me in the morning, which made me feel extremely special. It was totally unexpected. I’ve used it every day since. Thank you again!
